GALILEO

Sage has an agreement with GALILEO to publish articles open access. The agreement for participating organizations will run from January 01, 2024, through to December 01, 2026. The details of the agreement are as follows: 

To qualify for the agreement, the corresponding author must be affiliated with either Georgia Gwinnett College, Mercer University and Morehouse School of Medicine and have an article accepted for publication between 1 January 01, 2024 and December 31, 2026.

UK Jisc Agreement

Sage has an agreement with Jisc for subscribing Jisc institution members to cover open access article processing charges (APCs) for affiliated corresponding authors. The UK Jisc Agreement, open to all UK institutions who are consortium members, will run between 2023 and 2024. The details of the UK Jisc Agreement are as follows: 




Gay and lesbian job seekers face discrimination

Study shows homosexuals are 5% less likely to be offered job interview in UK

A new study shows that discrimination of gay and lesbian job seekers is commonplace within both private firms and the public sector in the UK.

The research, carried out by Dr Nick Drydakis of Anglia Ruskin University and published by SAGE in the journal Human Relations, involved 144 young people – all first-time job seekers – making 11,098 applications.
