Definitely a text worth having for any institute running a personal training or fitness instructing course. Offers an excellent insight into the world of a personal trainer and is a great resource to use during the theory delivery throughout a course/qualification.

Very useful resource, however it does contradict the CYQ teaching resources in places. Relevant and accurate advice and professional practice throughout that was adopted by the learners.

This book was widely used to support the learners throughout the qualification.

A useful learning and teaching aid for first year higher education students. In particular the reflective learning sections help students to link theory with practice.

A 'must read' resource that our students refer to on a regular basis. The quick reference and usability of this book makes for a must have in our sports students kit bags. Nicely written and clear to understand, this book comes highly recommended.
