Dr Marios Kostas is a Senior Lecturer of Education at Canterbury Campus of the University. He has a doctorate in Social Psychology of Education from the UCL Institute of Education. He teaches a range of modules at both undergraduate (BA Early Childhood Studies, BA Early Childhood Education and Care) and postgraduate levels (MA Education and Education Doctorate). He supervises PhD students working in the fields of sociology of education and gender studies. His current research focuses on post-structuralist approaches to gender and subjectivity and in particular on the work of Judith Butler. He has published articles in journals such as Gender and Education and British Journal of Sociology of Education.
