Dr. Marci Robles is Assistant Dean and Chair of Faculty in the College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University. She is also MBA Faculty and Professor of Corporate Communication and Technology. Dr. Robles has authored more than 40 journal articles, book chapters, and peer-reviewed manuscripts. She has presented at over 90 conferences nationally and internationally. Dr. Robles has served in many leadership roles for various professional associations in business communication and business research. She also served as the Editor for the Journal for Research in Business Information Systems. Dr. Robles has received numerous awards in teaching, research, and service throughout her career, including ABC Fellow of the Association Award (highest distinction) from International Association for Business Communication, Business Communication Impact Award for her research, Jack L. Dyer Excellence in Teaching Award, Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year, Outstanding Educator Award in Business Communication and also in Business Information Systems, Outstanding Research Paper Award from Association for Research in Business Education. Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota; Dr. Robles received her Ph.D. from University of North Dakota in 1996, where she taught for 13 years before joining the EKU faculty in 2002.
