Jane Karpa is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with over twenty-five years of clinical practice in working with children, adolescents, adults and families within health systems and as a private practitioner. Currently, Dr. Jane Karpa is an Associate Professor at Brandon University in both the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing program and in the Master of Psychiatric Nursing program. Dr. Karpa’s research program includes: acquired brain injury; family-centered care; reflective practice; and professional boundaries in practice.
