Andrew King is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. His research interests are concerned with age and ageing and particularly the relationship between sexuality and ageing. He has undertaken funded research into the lives of older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and published about this work in journals such as Ageing and Society and Sociology. Additionally, Andrew is interested in qualitative research methods, especially action research, narrative analysis and conversation analysis. He has published about the latter in the International Journal of Social Research Methodology.
