Excellent book - will be recommended reading for the developmental aspect of the course. Very recent material included and covers many of the historical aspects. Maybe some of the authors are quite critical, but nonetheless a detailed overview of the key issues.

An essential core text for any undergraduate completing a youth offending and youth justice module.

This is an indispensable text for helping learners connect theory as a guide to practice. The integration of research, historical and contemporary developments provide the building blocks to navigate the challenges presented by the increasing emphasis on risk rather than child welfare. This text is used to provide supporting context as part of the development of skills (report writing) and when examining the role of risk within our Key Themes module.
