This is a very useful resource, I particularly like the fact that it provides more than just a descriptive outline of the issues. The author encourages the student to learn to critically evaluate the relevant issues by identifying problems with specific concepts.
A really good book, well written and well structured. The 'Practice Examples' and 'Key Points' in each section make this easy to follow and understand.
There is plenty of additional reading as well relevant to each topic.
An easy to access book, which uses different examples to 'make the point' . Some excellent questions and examples are used throughout the book to encourage deeper understanding of what can be difficult topics for students to grasp. Well done.

This book covers the subject of ethics very well
This book provides students with a good background on the ethical issues associated with healthcare provision. I had origionally considered this book for a final year undergraduate module in which students are required to apply for ethical approval for their own research. However, the content is more suited to a module on evidence based heathcare as it provides good information on the ethical issues around decision making in health care.
