Helpful resource for student nurses entering their programme. This book sets the scene in relation to essential insight into health policy.
I was absolutely delighted to come across this book. this has justified my stance on why health policy should be part of all nursing fields and post-registration curricula. the case studies are excellent, the text maps across the new NMC (2010) domains for pre-reg nurses and it makes it explicit that health care professionals have a role and influence on the political landscape. Excellent!
