Distinguished Sage author Shaun L. Gabbidon discusses “Teaching About Race, Ethnicity, and Crime" in a recent one-hour webinar. In this workshop, Dr. Gabbidon shared his approach to teaching about race, ethnicity, and crime in the criminal justice classroom. His strategies not only aid instructors who teach courses on race and crime, but also benefit those looking to integrate this important topic into other criminal justice courses. This webinar is a great opportunity for any instructor seeking to continue the discourse around the intersection of racial inequality and the criminal justice system.

Shaun L. Gabbidon is a Distinguished Professor of Criminal Justice in the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg. Dr. Gabbidon has served as a fellow at Harvard University's W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for Afro-American Research and has taught at the Center for Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
