The 'What Can I Do' stories are a good introduction on the difficulty in managing/addressing these cases. Appreciate the discussion on the impact of mental illness in juvenile facilities.
This does a great job at presenting and disentangling the complexity of the relationship between trauma, victimization, delinquency, and involvement in the juvenile justice system. In fact, I'd argue it does a better job at tackling this aspect of juvenile justice and delinquency than any other juvenile delinquency textbook I'm familiar with.
