Program Student Learning Outcomes

Course: Sociology of Families

This graduate seminar will expose students to themes and debates in the literature related to the sociology of families. This seminar will touch on family structure, marriage, cohabitation, divorce, parenthood, and domestic violence.

Course: Political Sociology

This course will investigate the basic theories, concepts, arguments and literature related to political sociology through examining social classes, the media, important social movements, and political parties which have shaped social and political life.
