Operational Management
This book covers everything our second year undergraduate course touches on. The explanations are good, but this is suitable only for business studies generalists who are doing the odd module in operations. Its depth is insufficient for specialists, and there is very little quantitative content. That said, for concepts, definitions, and general all-round basics, this title is pitched exactly correctly. The only downside is this: rather too much of the book is devoted to covering learning skills (the final third). This might be good, or bad, depending on your perspective. Personally, I want operations texts to feature only operations content. But if it helps students, it is a useful bonus.
