Ross S. Hanson, MD University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA, USA

Dr. Hanson earned his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2011. After completing a transitional internship at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, he went on to complete Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Colorado where he served as chief resident. Dr. Hanson then went on to complete Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology followed by Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Hanson is an Assistant Professor at Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and currently serves as a staff anesthesiologist and critical care physician at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. He is the Director of Perioperative Echocardiography at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, a member of the Society of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists’ Structural Heart Task Force, and actively involved in local and national advanced echocardiography projects.
