This book condenses 70 years of developments in brief therapy and brings them into focus for the current practitioner. With a range of case study examples and a focus on techniques and tips for the busy practitioner it will be an excellent addition to any modern health care practitioners library.

Dave Hawkes

The handbook of brief therapies is a well-structured guide to the core principles of the most common brief therapies. The core approaches are covered as well as the consideration of other integrative approaches and modalities.

Upon reading the book, it is noticeably an easy but very interesting read and one that I know I will refer to many times in the future. As a whole, the book helped me to gain a better well-rounded understanding of the chosen brief therapies. This is a brilliant book to pick up if you haven’t got the time to be reading a more in-depth, extensive publication. It will definitely be my go-to book in the future and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy guide to brief therapies.
