Alessandro Gandini is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Milan, Department of Social and Political Sciences. His research interests include digital labour, cultures, and methods. He is the Principal Investigator of the ERC-funded “CRAFTWORK” project (www.craftwork.unimi.it), which studies neo-craft work cultures in the digital economy, and of the “ALGOFEED” project (www.algofeed.unimi.it), which looks at the role of algorithmic recommendation in cultural consumption in Italy.
