An indispensable text for any student starting 3rd level education in social studies. It spells out the recipe for successful essay writing for the social sciences. It does of course require that students read and engage with the text. It won't perform miracles, but with the right attitude academic success would be guaranteed.
This is a practical book that will be useful to all students looking to improve their academic wriiting not just those who are struggling to meet expectations.

An excellent resource for Social Science students. It is well written it is concise and very clear. I like that it considers the students emotional response at various stages of the essay writing process. This is valuable for non-traditional students and those returning to studies as a break.
