`This is a gem of a book from two of the outstanding management researchers of their generation. The textbook is well written with excellent discussions on the scientific and the interpretive approaches to conducting research. Business students often stumble when asked about their methodological framework. This text should definitely help!

I am in total agreement with the precis on the back cover, 'this is not just another book about research.' Lee & Lings have not just rehashed old material, they have produced an up to date, pragmatic and hands-on research manual. It contains an excellent mix of theory and practice and in doing so meets the needs of taught and research students.
