Dr. Sheri Levy is an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Psychology from Columbia University, for which she received the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Dissertation Award.  She has conducted research and has published numerous papers on children and prejudice.  She also has co-edited (with Dr. Frances Aboud) a special issue of the Journal of Social Issues that focused on developmental and social psychological research on prejudice.  She also has co-edited special issues on prejudice processes in other journals including Personality & Social Psychology Reviews and Group Processes & Intergroup Relations.
