Meera Alagaraja University of Louisville, USA

Dr. Meera Alagaraja (meera.alagaraja@louisville.edu) is an associate professor of Human Resources and Organization Development at the University of Louisville. Meera’s research focus primarily on three distinct streams: holistic wellbeing, strategic human resources, and workforce development. As Director of Wellbeing Research Lab, she trains undergraduate and graduate students from diverse disciplines (education, public health, humanities); leads research in collaboration with community partners and companies in the US and India. She serves on the editorial board of Human Resource Development International (HRDI), and Advances in Developing Human Resources. Meera’s publications were recognized with the Richard A. Swanson Research Excellence Award in 2017 for HRDQ and the Monica M. Lee Research Excellence award in 2013 for HRDI. Her research and consultation focus on wellbeing with private and public sector organizations, and communities. She received her Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University.
