Jonathan Lightfoot Hofstra University, USA
Jonathan Lightfoot is an Associate Professor in the Teaching, Learning & Technology Department at Hofstra University. He received his Ph.D. in Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Master’s degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell University. Dr. Lightfoot represented Hofstra’s School of Education on the University Senate for 6 years and chaired the Graduate Academic Affairs Committee. Work outside of the academy include conducting workshops for K-12 teachers, staff and students on cultural identity construction, cross cultural communication and reducing prejudice and hate crimes.
