Abigail Locke is a Reader in Applied Social Psychology in the School of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Huddersfield. She is a critical social and health psychologist, specialising in qualitative and discursive methodologies. Abigail is the current Chair of the British Psychological Society's Social Psychology Section. Her research interests are around gender and parenting, including societal representations of what constitutes ‘good motherhood’ and ‘good fatherhood’.
